On 13 June, the prestigious TITAN awards in the trenchless industry were handed out at the annual evening gala held as part of the International Conference, Exhibition and Technology Show 'Trenchless Engineering'.
Every year, for the past seventeen years, the most interesting projects and products used for trenchless investment are selected.
The awards are presented in five categories: Project of the Year - New Installation, Project of the Year - Renovation, Small Trenchless Project, European Trenchless Project and Product of the Year.
This time our company received the statuette as many as 2 times!
Project of the year - renovation
TITAN 2019 was received as a consortium of companies: BLEJKAN S.A. (leader) and P.P.H.U. AKWA J. Biskup, S. Owczarek sp.j. (partner) for the trenchless rehabilitation of three siphon lines (one line by BLEJKAN, the other two by a consortium) under the Vistula River in Kraków using CIPP technology. The total length of the installation is over 843 m. Sleeve DN1500 was cured with UV light (55 points)
The Titan Investor Laurel went to Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji S.A. in Kraków.
Small trenchless project
The TYTAN award went to P.P.H.U. AKWA J. Biskup, S. Owczarek sp.j. for the modernisation of secondary settling tanks at the Panewniki wastewater treatment plant in Katowice using CIPP technology. A fibreglass-reinforced sleeve (diameters DN200 to DN800) with UV curing was installed. (53 points)
The Titanium Investor Laurel was handed over to Katowicka Infrastruktura Wodociągowo-Kanalizacyjna sp. z o.o.
