The trenchless engineering conference is the largest meeting of trenchless market participants in Central and Eastern Europe. In addition to the substantive part, i.e. workshops, lectures and discussion panels or live technology demonstrations, a gala event features the presentation of the prestigious TYTAN awards. A professional jury votes for the most interesting projects and products used in trenchless works. Award recipients are also honoured with the Tytan Investor Laurels.
For years now, the TITANS in the trenchless industry have been presented in five categories: Project of the Year - New Installation, Project of the Year - Renovation, Small Trenchless Project, European Trenchless Project and Product of the Year. The winners are selected by a committee consisting of:
- Dr Andrzej Kolonko of the Wrocław University of Technology,
- Paweł Kośmider, M.Sc., from the quarterly magazine "Trenchless Engineering",
- Prof. Marian Kwietniewski, D.Sc. from the Warsaw University of Technology,
- Prof. Dr.-Ing. Cezary Madryas of the Wrocław University of Technology,
- Dr Florian Piechurski from the Silesian University of Technology,
- Paweł Popielski, Ph.D., Professor at the Warsaw University of Technology,
- Dr Karol Ryż from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków,
- Prof. Dr.-Ing. Adam Wysokowski,
- Dr Dariusz Zwierzchowski of the Research and Certification Centre.
This year, our company received a special award. For 30 years of activity and special achievements in the market.
"AKWA W. Biskup, M. Fryc sp.j. - on its 30th anniversary.
With its experienced engineering staff, Akwa has specialised in refurbishing networks using the CIPP UV method, although it also uses technologies based on the application of GRP panels or felt sleeves. Over the years, many assignments have required an unconventional approach and individual, tailor-made solutions - this focus is the company's strength."
